I think moving to 3 pt takedown and 3 pt reversal would help.

I think that would help encourage action and provide a needed separation between the 2 point takedown and 1 point escape. There was no need for Hokie fans to worry up till the final seconds that Clark of Iowa may somehow upset Garrett of Cornell. Garrett dominated that match 3 takedowns to zero (zero shot attempts even). Yet it ended as a 1 point match.

Only negative I can come up with for this is not being able to yell "TWOOOO" after each takedown.
